Sail out to Little Buck Island near St. Thomas

The best part of visiting St. Thomas is being able to swim with the sea turtles! Buck Island National Wildlife Refuge is located just four miles south of the Charlotte Amalie harbor. While visitors aren’t allowed to set foot on the island in order to preserve the habitat, the surrounding waters are perfect for swimming with turtles and observing the many migratory birds that perch along its canopies. Divers can also witness the remains of the Royal Mail Packet Steamer Wye shipwreck along the coast of Little Buck Island in St. Thomas.
